Dr. Ahmed Aziz qualified as a physician from the University of Alexandria in Egypt. He has worked with the United Nations Higher Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) as a senior public health associate and deputy field health coordinator.
He has also been with the International Organization for Migration as a migration health assistant and deputy office manager. Dr. Aziz consults patients for general health management and as a family physician. He advises on emergency care, such as trauma management, surgical emergencies and cardiothoracic surgical emergencies. He is also an expert on healthcare project management.
In addition to his role as a physician, Dr. Aziz has a number of hobbies and interests. He is a musician, guitarist, drummer, former Judo champion, long distance swimmer, sportsperson and instructor. He has a great interest in Arabic calligraphy, and speaks Arabic and English.
