Ms. Asmaa Ahmed is an Allied Health Physiotherapist in the Department of Physiotherapy at the Khawaneej branch of Medcare Medical Centre. 

She completed her Bachelor’s Degree in Physical Therapy from the well-known and one of the largest private Universities called October 6 University (O6U) located in Giza in Egypt She followed this up with a Master's Degree in Physical therapy for Women's Health from Cairo University, also in Egypt. She then acquired a Diploma in Personal Nutrition from the Shaw Academy, an online learning platform based in Dublin, Ireland. 

Ms Ahmed commenced her career as a sports injuries physiotherapist attached to the Zamalek Sporting Club in Giza and then worked as a Physiotherapy Manager at a private Physiotherapy Centre in Cairo. As a Senior Physiotherapist, she then joined a Government Hospital that falls under the Egyptian Ministry of Health and Population, before moving to Dubai.

Ms. Ahmed is proficient at managing neuromuscular and musculoskeletal disorders with a focus on post-operative rehabilitation. Her special interest lies in sports injuries rehabilitation and she is passionate about  
women's health physiotherapy. 

During her leisure hours, she likes reading and watching movies. She likes to keep active and fit by taking part in various sports, Ms. Ahmed speaks both Arabic and English.
