Dr. Mohammad Mahmoud Klaib
Dr. Mohammad Mahmoud Klaib is a qualified Internal Medicine Specialist in the Department of Internal Medicine at the Sharjah - Medcare Medical Centre. He graduated from the Jordan University of Science and Technology and completed a Certificate of High Specialization in Internal Medicine from the Jordan Medical Council. He has completed certification in Basic and Advanced Life Support Provider from the American Heart Association. He subsequently moved to Germany for training in cardiology and gastroenterology and also trained at the Medical Hospital in Jordan. Dr. Klaib is a lifetime member of the Royal College of Physicians, UK and of the Jordan Medical Association in Jordan. He is privileged to be a member of the consulting staff at the Jordanian Royal Medical Services.
During the nascency of his career, Dr. Klaib worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist and a clinical instructor in Internal Medicine for medical students in the Faculty of Medicine at the Jordan University of Science and Technology. He also served as an Internal Medicine Specialist with the Jordanian Royal Medical Services after which, he worked as an Internal Medicine Specialist at MAP (a British Charity that offers specialized medical services).
Dr. Klaib is extremely proficient in managing an extensive range of diseases. These include heart diseases, hypertension and heart failure, diabetes and metabolic disorders, thyroid disorders and other endocrinopathies, kidney disorders and chronic kidney disease, osteoporosis, hyperlipidaemia, obesity, stroke, migraine and cluster headaches and neurological disorders, peptic ulcer disease, oesophageal disorders, Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS), respiratory diseases and bronchial asthma. Other conditions successfully treated by him are in the area of critical care medicine, emergency medicine and diseases like rheumatoid arthritis, gastrointestinal diseases, infectious diseases, haematological diseases and anaemia. Additionally, he counsels patients who have vitamin or nutrition deficiencies, deals with Geriatrics medicine, conducts regular health check-ups, and cancer screening and gives vaccinations.
One of Dr. Klaib’s key achievements has been the diagnosis of the first case of an extremely rare syndrome in Jordan which was published in international medical journals. His contribution during the COVID pandemic has been immense as he managed all its complications at different levels of ER, isolation wards and intensive care units.
When he is able to find the time in his busy schedule, Dr. Klaib likes travelling and playing a variety of sports. He speaks Arabic, English and German.
