Dr. Swati Varshney is an accomplished physiotherapist having done her BSc in physiotherapy from Garhwal University, India and later MSc in physiotherapy (Adult neurological rehabilitation) from Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, India. She has the coveted life membership of The Indian Association of Physiotherapists (M.I.A.P), and is a member of the Delhi Council of Physiotherapists. She is a certified BLS Holder with American Heart Association Certificate in Instrument Assisted Soft Tissue Mobilization (IASTM) and also has a certificate in Pilates CLINICAL EX.
Dr. Varshney worked as senior physiotherapist, first at Fortis Vivekanand Multispecialty Hospital, Moradabad, India, then at Asian Vivekanand Multispecialty Hospital, Moradabad, India, and subsequently at Indian Spinal Injuries centre Multispecialty Hospital, New Delhi, India.
Her area of expertise lies in using proprioceptive neuromuscular facilitation techniques. She does rehabilitation of patients with spinal cord injury, neurological disorders, post spine injury. Her forte is physiotherapy management in ICU using evidence-based treatments of various pre and post- operative musculoskeletal disorders. She advocates Pilates to promote overall health, improve muscle tone and strength, and achieve better posture.
During her work she has handled cases of sports injury rehabilitation, post fracture rehabilitation, ankle and hand rehabilitation, total hip replacement, and back and neck rehabilitation. She is fluent in English and Hindi.
