Dr. Arianna Huerta Martinez
Dr. Arianna Huerta Martinez is a Specialist in the Department of Paediatrics at the Medcare Paediatric Speciality Centre. She obtained her MBBS from Anahuac University in Mexico City. She subsequently completed a Master’s Degree in Paediatrics and another Master’s Degree in Paediatrics Infectious Diseases, both from the National Institute of Paediatrics in Mexico City. She is a member of the National Paediatrics Council of Mexico, the Paediatric Infectious Diseases Mexican Association and the Mexican Council of Infectology.
Dr. Martinez commenced her career with a Paediatric and Paediatric Infectious Diseases Residency Program at the National Institute of Paediatrics. She then served as a Specialist Paediatrician and Paediatric Infectious Diseases Specialist at ATIN and as a Senior Specialist in Paediatric Infectious Diseases at a Private Paediatrics Hospital called Star Medica, both in Mexico City .
Her expertise covers a range of children's diseases that includes allergies, colds and flu, conjunctivitis, diarrhoea, sore throat, ear infection, pneumonia, urinary tract infections, skin and soft tissue infections, asthma, bronchiolitis, croup, gastroenteritis, parasitic infections, anemia, and recurrent infections in children. Dr. Martinez has a special interest in paediatric infectious diseases and inflammatory syndromes like Multisystemic Inflammatory Syndrome related to COVID and Kawasaki Disease.
In her free time, Dr. Martinez likes to stay fit through surfing, skiing and kayaking. She has been a Mexican National Canoeing Sprint Team member from 1994 to 1999. She speaks Spanish, English, French and a bit of Dutch.
