Ms. Raghda Adi
Clinical Dietitian & Nutritionist
Ms. Raghda Adi is a Clinical Dietitian and Nutritionist in the Department of Diet & Nutrition at the Medcare Hospital- Sharjah. She completed her BSc, in Clinical Nutrition and Dietetics and MSc in Diabetes Management from the University of Sharjah.
Ms. Adi completed her internship at the University Hospital of Sharjah and then joined the Medcare Medical Centre as a Clinical Dietitian. She believes in a holistic approach to lifestyle, diet and nutrition for wellness and clinical disease management.
Her expertise lies in the planning and implementation of customized diets for patients with conditions like PCOS, hormonal imbalance, fatty liver, hypothyroidism, gout, heart disease, constipation, hemorrhoids, GERD, IBS, celiac disease, gastritis, diverticulitis, etc. She has been successful in the reversal and management of type 2 diabetes, gestational diabetes and insulin resistance.
She is proficient in weight management and balanced diet for obese and undernourished children and adults; body composition analysis and customized diet prescription; tailored diet as per muscle mass, visceral fat, total body fat percentage, and food preferences; diets for muscle gain, gym training and general fitness; balanced diet for pregnant and lactating women and patients post-bariatric surgeries. She has treated patients with malnutrition, chronic fatigue, high cholesterol, anorexia nervosa and bulimia.
In her free time, Ms. Adi loves reading, listening to music, travelling and swimming. She speaks Arabic and English.
