Dr. Ahmad Alamadi is a Consultant Otolaryngologist at Medcare Hospial Al Safa. He graduated (MBChB) from the University of Glasgow Medical School, UK and completed his surgical training in Scotland, obtaining the Fellowship of the Royal College of Surgeons (FRCS) of Glasgow. He then pursued higher subspecialty training through a clinical Neurotology Fellowship at the University of Toronto in Canada.
Dr. Alamadi has spent more than two decades in the field of Otolaryngology and Neurotology. He commenced his career as an ENT consultant at the Ministry of Health in the UAE. Later, he joined Belhoul European Hospital as a Consultant in Otolaryngology. He has experience as a Chief Executive Officer and Consultant in Otolaryngology at the Advance Hearing and Balance Centre (AHBC) where his clinical practice focuses on otology, neurotology, cochlear implantation and implantable hearing devices. He also served as a Consultant ENT & Cochlear Implant Surgeon at Burjeel Hospital, Abu Dhabi and the University Hospital Sharjah. 
Dr. Alamadi’s repertoire of services includes otological surgery, cochlear implantation and implantable hearing devices. His expertise includes the evaluation and surgical management of complex hearing disorders, with a strong focus on diseases of the ear and auditory system. He also assesses and manages patients with dizziness and balance disorders, provides specialist assessment and surgical care for patients being considered for cochlear implantation, supporting children and adults through candidacy evaluation, treatment planning and coordinated follow-up with audiology and rehabilitation teams. He treats severe to profound sensorineural hearing loss, especially those who receive limited benefit from conventional hearing aids; congenital, severe to profound hearing loss; selected single-sided deafness; asymmetric severe hearing loss; and progressive or acquired severe hearing loss requiring cochlear implant assessment.
Alongside his clinical practice, Dr. Alamadi is active in medical education and research and serves as a Clinical Associate Professor at the University of Sharjah. He has also held senior medical leadership roles in the UAE and is an Aero Medical Examiner. He speaks Arabic and English.
