Ms. Batoul Mkallati is an Allied Health Physiotherapist in the Department of Physiotherapy at the Mirdif - Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her BSc in Physiotherapy from the University of Sharjah and further obtained a Clinical Dry Needling Diploma, a FIFA  Diploma in Sports Medicine and an  Orthopaedic Manual Therapy and Exercise Diploma. She is a member of the Emirates Physiotherapy Association.

Ms. Mkallati is experienced in handling diverse medical conditions related to geriatrics, paediatrics, neurology, and cardiopulmonary with an aptitude for musculoskeletal injuries. She specialises in sports injury rehabilitation, low back pain and spinal stabilization exercises, joint manipulation and mobilization, and postural and structural alignment.  She has successfully treated cervical pain, sciatica pain, Bell’s palsy, scoliosis, ankle sprain injuries, fingers and wrist fractures and nerve entrapment.  Her key strength lies in ensuring that every patient receives a unique treatment plan applicable to their daily lifestyle and she encourages patients to reach a maximum level of mobility and function by educating them about their case. She believes that mental health and psychosomatic pain have a bearing on physiotherapy and includes this as part of her therapy.

When she’s not working Ms. Mkallati stays in shape with CrossFit and pilates. She plays padel and loves horse riding. She speaks Arabic and English.
