Dr. Farah Al Kirdy is a Specialist Paediatrician at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her MBBS from the Beirut Arab University and her Paediatric Residency at the American University of Beirut, both in Lebanon. 
Dr. Al Kirdy has worked across Lebanon, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. During the early years of her career, she worked as a Haematology & Oncology Research Associate at the American University of Beirut Medical Centre. She continued working there to complete her Paediatric Intensive Care Fellowship. Later, she moved to Riyadh and joined Dr Sulaiman Al Habib Medical Group Arryan Hospital as a Specialist Paediatrician. Subsequently, she moved to the UAE, where she worked as a Specialist Paediatrician at the American Hospital in Dubai before joining Medcare.
Dr. Al Kirdy provides comprehensive care for newborns, infants, children, and adolescents, including childhood immunisations and preventive care. She expertly addresses newborn and infant health concerns, anaemia, haematological problems, nutritional deficiencies and feeding and nutritional problems. She treats coughs, colds, respiratory infections, ear infections, throat infections, asthma, wheezing, allergies, constipation, abdominal pain, gastroenteritis, vomiting, diarrhoea, common skin conditions and rashes, urinary tract infections and renal-related paediatric complaints. She manages children’s growth, their behavioural and developmental concerns, as well as childhood obesity and being underweight. Her experience in paediatric intensive care adds to her expertise in early recognition and assessment of seriously ill children, complex paediatric presentations and cases requiring referral to paediatric subspecialists.
