Dr. Mohammad Ashfaq Konchwalla has impressive credentials, right from MBBS and FRCS from The Royal College of Surgeons, England, then FRCS from The Royal College of Surgeons, Glasgow and another FRCS in Trauma and Orthopaedics from The Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh, England, Glasgow and Ireland. He also completed his diploma in Sports Medicine from The Royal College of Surgeons of Sports and Exercise Medicine, Edinburgh and a Certificate of Completion of Specialist Training from UK. He has a wide array of experience encompassing periods at Memon Medical Institute and the National Hospital, both in Karachi. He worked with prestigious hospitals in the UK like Kings College Hospital, Charring Cross Hospital, Hammersmith Hospital and the Royal National Orthopaedic Hospital. Dr Konchwalla is reputed for his arthroscopic procedures involving the knees for chondrocyte transplantation, growing chondrocyte via stem cell and doing implantation, ACL/PCL ligament reconstruction and meniscal repair of the knee and complex revision ligament surgery, involving the shoulders for subacromial decompression, arthroscopic bankart repair and rotator cuff repair, and involving the elbow and wrist for tennis elbow release, TFCC repair and ligament stabilization. 

His expertise extends to arthroscopic ankle surgery for osteochondral lesion, complex ligament reconstruction, arthroscopic hip surgery for labarum repair, microfracture, stem cell therapy and arthroscopically assisted intraarticular fracture fixation of joints. He is proficient too at joint replacement of hip, knee, shoulder, PRP and stem cell application (hip, knee, ankle, shoulder), foot deformity and hallux valgus and trauma management. He is a member of the General Medical Council, UK, of the British Orthopaedic Association and a founder member of the Faculty of Sports and Exercise Medicine, UK. He is also an alumnus of AO, Switzerland. 

In his profession too Dr Konchwalla follows his passion for sports as he is a qualified sports surgeon and consultant in sports surgery. He has empirical professional sporting experience as medical team doctor for Formula 1 and medical team director for Pakistan Super League, Master Cricket League, T10 cricket tournaments and at the International Cricket Academy. Further he was specialist supervisor at Twickenham Rugby Stadium and at Dubai Rugby Sevens. He is passionate about car racing and cricket and speaks English, Gujarati, Hindi, Punjabi and Urdu.
