Ms. Tania Khan is an Occupational Therapist, working at Medcare Medical Centre. Ms. Khan began her career as an Occupational Therapy student at the Royal Alexandra Hospital, working in the area of Trauma and Orthopaedics and at New Bridge House, a rehabilitation unit, in Birmingham. She then joined Birmingham City Medical Council UK, as a Senior Occupational Therapist. She briefly worked as a Support Specialist at The Care Owl Private Care Agency and as a Vaccinator at SW Healthcare. Later, she became a Senior Occupational Therapist at Birmingham Community Healthcare NHS Foundation Trust after which she moved to the UAE. She worked first as an Occupational Therapist at Amana Health Care and later at Consultant's Medical Centre, both in Abu Dhabi.
As a skilled Occupational Therapist, Ms. Khan assists patients in performing activities of daily living, musculoskeletal and orthopaedic conditions, assisting sensory Integration, gross and fine motor skills and handwriting. She manages their emotional regulation, learning disabilities and rehabilitation and works with those suffering from autism spectrum disorder (ASD) and attention deficit hyperactivity disorder.
During her spare time, she enjoys reading, travelling and playing cricket. She speaks English fluently.
