Dr. Tayseer Ali is a Consultant Neurologist at Medcare Medical Centre. She completed her Doctor of Medicine (MD) from the University of Khartoum, Sudan and then underwent further training in Neurology at the University of Uppsala, Sweden. She also completed her training in Neurology and Neurophysiology in Saudi Arabia, and one from the University of Geneva, Italy. She is both a Member (MRCP) and a Fellow (FRCP) of the Royal College of Physicians, UK. Additionally, she completed her Advanced Training in Neurology and Neurophysiology in the UK. 
Dr. Tayseer has spent more than three decades working as a Consultant Neurologist in Sudan, Saudi Arabia and the UAE. She has been teaching medical students & postgraduate doctors at the University of Khartoum, the Military Teaching Hospital at Abha in Saudi Arabia, the Medical College at the University of Sharjah, and at Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah. Before joining Medcare, she served as a Senior Consultant Neurologist and Head of the Department of Neurology and Neurophysiology at Al Qassimi Hospital, Sharjah, UAE. Besides treating adult outpatients and inpatients with neurological disorders, she taught medical students, general practitioners, and Arab Board Residents. 
Dr. Tayseer is an expert in diagnosing and treating disorders of the brain, spinal cord, nerves, and muscles. She is proficient in treating tension headaches, migraine, epilepsy, multiple sclerosis, strokes, Myasthenia Gravis, dementia, including Alzheimer's disease, and movement disorders, including Parkinson's disease. She manages neuropathies including diabetic neuropathy, muscle disease, and cranial nerve palsies, including Bell's Palsy. She also manages spasticity and chronic migraine with Botulinum Toxin injections. 
She participates in clinical trials as primary investigator and is a member of the advisory board of several drug companies, including Roche, Sanofi, Novartis, Biogen and Merck. She attends international medical conferences and contributes to committees involved in the evaluation of Neurologists applying for EHS, Stroke and MS committees and those evaluating the cognitive function of patients for court.
